Ordering Information Using the shopping cart Shopping at Honey Bunch Kids is very simple and very secure. Select the colors, sizes and any customizations from the product page. Click the “add to cart” button and the item is automatically placed in your shopping basket. Some items may have additional shipping charges due to their size, weight or special handling requirements. These additional charges ensure that the items are packaged appropriately and arrive safely at your home. Once you have everything in your shopping cart proceed to checkout. You can choose to Sign In as a registered member of Honey Bunch Kids or continue shopping as a guest. When you have made your Sign In choice, you will complete a series of forms with your billing, shipping and payment information. Fill them out, complete your order and you’re done! A confirmation page will show a summary of your transaction and an email version of this summary will be promptly sent to the email address you provide. All credit card transactions and confidential information are verified and protected by Paypal, one of the industry leaders in SSL encryption. | | Online account registration Why should you register at HBK? Well, for starters it makes your online shopping faster and easier. Your billing and shipping information is securely stored with us so you won’t need to enter it every time you shop with us. You will also be able to login to your account to check the status of your orders and your order history. Registering with us also allows you to subscribe to our newsletter mailing list. Our newsletter is mailed quarterly and will include information on new items and brands, sales and promotions. | | Phone orders If for any reason you wich to speak to a live person, please call our customer service number at: (973) 662-0136 Monday through Saturday between the hours of 9 am - 5 pm EST. For your shopping convenience, during the busy Holiday months of November and December we are open 7 days a week, 9 am - 8 pm EST. If no one is available to assist you or if it is after hours, please leave a detailed message and we will return the call as soon as possible. Foreign customers may also fax their orders to us at 973-662-0043. This is a very safe form of sharing credit card information as well. Since we do not share office space with any other company, your order will come directly to one of our customer service representatives. | | Monogramming & Personalization As an extra special touch, monograms and personalization are available on some of our products. Because these customized items were made especially for you they are non returnable unless defective. | | Delivery times We try our hardest to get your purchase to you fast as possible. Most of our items are custom made or ship directly from our manufacturing partners. This includes most of our bedding lines. Quality craftsmanship takes time! Please be patient as delivery times for these items will vary. You will find an estimate of the delivery time specified on every product page (if you do not see it, please call our customer service number). It is important to note that these are estimated shipping dates only and can not be guaranteed by HBK. Occasionally issues arise that we do not expect and they may lead to additional production time. An example would be our manufacturers experiencing a backup in production. If this is the case you will be notified as soon as we are made aware of the problem. | | Backorders At times some of our inventory dwindles faster than we anticipate. If this is the case on one of the items that you ordered, you will be notified immediately. If you order a crib set and if we have some of the pieces completed, we may ship you the items at hand and then ship the remainder of the order at a later time. You may check with us on the status of your order at any time. | | Canceling a Custom order Suddenly change your mind? Not a problem. You have up to two (2) business days to contact us to cancel any custom order and have the amount refunded to your credit card. After two (2) days custom orders are non-refundable. Custom orders include any personalized or monogrammed items, made to order lighting, and anything else that is made to order. If you are unsure of whether or not an item is considered custom, please contact us to verify. | | Payment Options We accept MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover, Checks, and Money Orders. Your credit card is charged as soon as your order is placed. Checks are held for 10 days to ensure that funds are available. Sales tax We charge 6% sales tax to orders shipped to New Jersey. | | Return & Exchange Policies If you would like to exchange or return an item please contact us by email or phone. Let us know the reason for the return or exchange. Please do not return items without prior authorization as some returns may have to be shipped back directly to our manufacturing partners. A 25% restocking fee will be charged on all returns. Please note that items shipped back to us without a return authorization number will not be accepted and will be returned to you. All items must be returned in their original, unworn and unused condition within 15 days for a refund. Shipping is non-refundable. We offer free shipping on several of our items. If for any reason you need to return an item with free shipping, the refund you receive will be for the item price minus the standard shipping cost. Standard shipping costs are based on item prices as outlined within our shipping information. If you opt to exchange your free shipping purchase for another item that also had free shipping, a standard shipping charge will be added to cover our costs. | | Returning or exchanging "Free Shipping" items Several of our product lines feature free shipping. If for any reason you need to return an item that had free shipping, the refund you receive will be for the item price minus the standard shipping cost. Standard shipping costs are based on item prices as outlined on our shipping page. The only exception to this would be if an item is received defective, in which case it will be replaced with no additional shipping fees. If you are exchanging a free shipping item for a standard shipping product, you will be charged our regular shipping cost. | |
When damages occur during freight delivery While we do our best to ensure your items arrive in a timely manner and in perfect condition, there is always the possibility that something can go wrong. We would love to be able to say that damage never occurs during transit, but unfortunately that is not always the case. Our freight carriers handle your purchases with great care but it is important to understand that occasionally damages do occur. If your purchases arrive damaged, it is important that you follow the procedures set forth by the particular carrier.
